Every Maserati, constructed with the utmost attention to detail, is a true masterpiece of Italian Design. Both for the road and for the race track, Maserati has built some of the most extraordinary automobiles the world has ever seen.
Through the evolution of its Designs, Maserati has led the way in automotive fashion, with unique cars, elegant yet sporty, always with highly personal, distinctive lines.
Maserati has created a new line of tyres specially designed for its vehicles that represent the perfect combination of comfort, safety and durability, on both dry and wet road surfaces.

B-play an independent creative group active since 2005 under the name of Bellissimo Vision, focused on interactive experiences & video productions, has been asked to produce a Digital Video Advertising to promote the brand new Maserati Genuine Tyres.
As the Art Director of the agency, I’ve carefully worked together with the Creative team to develop a strong visual identity & illustrate it with mood boards & rough compositions. Then I’ve designed all the high-tech typography, graphics and visual animations to carry the key concept of each individual parts.
And at last but not the least, I’ve taken care of the production of the CGI in all its aspects. Everything was a challenge and fun to work at, the shading of the tyres with its realistic materials, the high-tech look of the car, the lighting that defined every details, the right angle-search for the camera animation, to the compositing of the final CGI sequences.
With its blue-neon style and its sharp details, the final Adv quickly conveys a true identity.

In this gallery you can admire the look development I've done for the tyres & wheel rims. Two versions have been developed for the video, The summer and winter tyres. These tyres are identified by the ‘MGT’ (Maserati Genuine Tyres) marking.
